Sales & Pricing Policy: Retail & Wholesale

Woody Pet supports local retailers. We encourage customers to purchase goods from their local stores where possible. Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of items is shown for guidance and information only. Since all orders placed at the store are subject to shipping charges, our prices are generally below MSRP. You may find purchasing from this store to be less or more expensive than purchasing from a retail outlet. Many items are offered with quantity discounts. Buyers will also find that unit shipping costs decline with larger quantity purchases. Large quantities are offered at our lowest wholesale price. Our intent is that retailers may purchase directly from this webstore to resell the goods in their own stores. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment Terms

All orders must be paid for in full by credit card at the checkout. Currently we only accept VISA and Mastercard brand credit and debit cards. The store does not accept bank debit cards, nor PayPal, and we do not ship COD.

All prices shown are in Canadian Dollars. You can pay for your bill with any accepted card regardless of which base currency your credit card uses. Your credit card company will automatically perform any required currency exchange for you at their current rate.

Canadian Sales Taxes

Sales taxes will be added during checkout to all orders with delivery address in Canada at the following rates. No taxes will be added to orders shipped outside of Canada.

Order Fulfillment & Shipping Methods

Orders will be usually be shipped within 7 days. Orders may be canceled prior to shipment but may be subject to a 10% restocking charge. Once shipped orders cannot be canceled. If your order cannot be ready to ship within 7 days we will contact you for further instructions. Orders will be shipped prepaid by ground courier or LTL truck service for delivery during regular weekday hours. We cannot ship to PO boxes. Transit time should be in the range of 3-8 days depending on destination. Currently the store only offers ground based shipping to destinations in the USA and Canada. Other shipping methods and destination countries will be added. If your shipment appears to be damaged upon arrival please write “ Received Damaged” on the delivery slip before you sign it. Contact Woody Pet if there is freight damage. The store can accept orders with a total weight up to 325 lbs. Contact us to arrange larger shipments.

Base Shipping Cost

The webstore will automatically calculate and apply basic shipping & handling charges during checkout. Charges are based on shipment weight and destination. The following table can be used to estimate these charges prior to checkout:

Canadian Shipping Surcharges & Discounts

Shipments to some rural or remote destinations in Canada are subject to a shipping surcharge. Customers are requested to please go the item “ Shipping Costs >> Rural Shipping Surcharge ” and add the required surcharge if applicable. Orders bound for destinations where a surcharge applies will not be shipped until this fee is paid.

Shipments to some Canadian urban destination qualify for a discount from the basic shipping charge. Customers may request this discount by selecting the item “ Shipping Costs >> Urban Discount” if applicable. The discount will be calculated and refunded after the order has been shipped.

Privacy

WoodyPet will not use your personal information for any purpose other than fulfilling your order and any necessary related correspondence. We will not see, nor do we have access to, your complete credit card number.

Security

The webstore is hosted by a secure service provider which is certified to the highest industry standards. Look for the lock symbol on your web browser and https:// at the beginning of the store URL to confirm a secure connection. The webstore has links to outside webpages (including this one) which display in pop-up windows which are not secured.

The shopping cart functions of the store requires a "cookie" to be temporarily stored on your computer while you are shopping. Your web browser security settings must allow cookies for you to be able to use this site properly. This cookie does not perform any ongoing tracking and may be deleted when your shopping is complete.
